Ducati no longer sells stators for the pre-99 models using single-phase charging systems. This OEM stator works with all Ducatis having 2 yellow wires exiting alternator cover. If your charging system fails, it’s likely due to either the voltage regulator or the stator.
UPDATE: After installing one of these stators on my 748, my charging system was transformed. It went from an anemic 12.4 volts at idle and 12.9 volts at 4k rpm to 13.9 volts at idle and 14.5 volts at 4k rpm.
