Desuphation - The Battery Minder includes a de-sulphation mode. Simply push a button on the unit and the Battery Minder uses a pulse-charge method to break down sulphation. Sulphation if the #1 cause of premature battery failures and is a process of lead-sulphate crystals attaching themselves to the lead storage plates within the battery. Desulphation also works on AGM batteries

Application - The Battery Minder is appropriate for both Maintenance and Maintenance-Free Batteries (AGM). I use 10 Battery Minders every hour of every day of every week to keep my Ducks ready to fly. The battery minder can also be hooked up in series to multiple batteries in the winter to keep them topped off.
