I've been searching for an affordable water pump cover replacement for years. Knowing the properties of a heat sink, I sought a beefy billet cover that would absorb some of the heat, and keep coolant temps down a bit. Another reason to replace the water pump cover is the tendency for the inlet pipe to rust (see above pic). Finally, a stronger cover would better resist impact from a crash/tipover on the left side. The Slingshot cover does all three of these things. This replacement cover comes with a shiny new inlet pipe and stainless cover bolts. Instruction sheet included. Available in red, gold, black, and silver.

There are 2 styles of water pump covers -- The 4 bolt pattern (used on older models of the 851, 888, 916, and 748), and the later 5 bolt pattern used on newer Ducatis made after the 916. Look at your water pump cover if you aren't sure. Don't email me asking what bolt pattern you have.
