History of Bike- I purchased this bike from a salvage shop in January 2002 to write a story for MCN on how to rebuild a salvage bike. It was a two part story of the effort required to bring a salvage bike back to better-than-new condition. I then used the bike for several years as my tourer, and since 2005 she has been ridden a few times each year. She's in fantastic shape and awaits a new home. Since finishing my custom ST4S, this bike is excess in my inventory.

About the price - Given the history of the bike and all the modifications, the bike is worth every penny of $5,500. If you want to haggle on the price, there are plenty of ST2s available on Cycle Trader and eBay. If you send me an email asking if I'll take a lower price, I won't respond. Bike is sold as-is.
